The work

Five jobs. One truck.

Pick a job. Tim is on it — he comes to the yard and does the cutting. The range below is a planning number, not a bid.

A grapple on a large oak trunk, with brush already on the ground

Piece by piece, so the house stays put.

Hazard trees, trees on the roof, and the ones that outgrew the lot. Every limb is roped. Nothing free-falls onto the house.

Taken down in sections. The big wood comes out with the machine.

Method

The yard is not a job site we abandon.

  1. 01

    Walk it

Tim looks at the lean, the roof, the fence, and where the truck can sit. He is the one who comes back to cut it.

  2. 02

    Write it

You get a range before a saw starts. Hollow wood, a roof in the way, or a tight bucket-truck setup moves the number — we say that out loud.

  3. 03

    Leave it

Cut, chip, haul, grind, rake. Brush and some of the trees can go through the chipper. If you want the rounds stacked for firewood, we leave them.

If the tree can stay, we do not talk you into a takedown.

Before the visit

Who does the work?

Tim does. It is owner-operated. He comes to each job and does the cutting, not just the estimate.

Do you take the wood?

If you want it hauled, yes. Leaving the wood is the lower range. Most single trees, cut with the wood left, run $200–$1,000. Big trees run $800–$3,500.

Do you chip it?

Yes. Chipping is available for the brush and for some of the trees. Trunks that will not fit the chipper stay as rounds or get hauled. Say which you want on the walk.

How soon?

We are available 24/7. Most yards land inside the week. After a storm, blocked driveways go first.

Are you insured?

Yes. Tim's Tree Service is fully insured.

Veterans and seniors?

Yes. Both get a discount. Ask when you call.

How do I book?

Call (864) 492-7118, or send your name and number from the form. That opens a text to Tim. Hit send, and he calls you back or comes to look. The estimate is free.

Will you top the tree?

Yes. Tim will top it if that is what you want, and he tells you the risks before the saw starts. Topping invites decay, the new growth is weaker, and it often costs more later.

Do I need to be home?

For the first walk, yes. After that a gate code is enough, and we text when we are rolling.
